Hello, dear humans! We are Tannia and Frida, and we've been friends since college. Our bond was initially formed over our shared love for dancing salsa (Tannia was a phenomenal dancer, even competing, while Frida just enjoyed shaking her booty) and experimenting with intense and unconventional makeup styles. At that time, we had no idea what the future held for us.
Fast forward to today, and here we are, two gals in our 30s (yes, we'll never reveal our actual age), navigating the exciting and challenging world of startups and tech. It's been quite a ride, filled with both successes and epic failures. That's why we believe it's time to share our advanced #jedi lessons with the world. Now, we aren't professional coaches, influencers, or content experts, but we're confident that what we have to share can help YOU. We've tested these lessons in real life with real humans, and the results have been wonderful. So, without further ado, let's goooo!
As we climbed the corporate and startup ladder, we realized that we lacked confidence in expressing our thoughts and opinions in our work environments. Contrary to what leadership books often portrayed, speaking our minds in group meetings, presentations, and even casual conversations was not as easy as it seemed. It wasn't due to a lack of vocabulary but rather an abundance of unfiltered honesty, which sometimes came across as "too much" for certain groups.
Lesson #1: People who speak their minds without an empathy filter aren't usually popular.
Don't get us wrong, we didn't aspire to be popular. Our goal was to become bolder, braver, and more assertive (and, of course, dominate the world, hehe), but above all, we wanted to be kind and empathetic leaders. Now, fifteen years later (damn, you can start guessing our age now), after continuous practice and embracing the latest technologies, we've decided to unlock our superpowers by delving deep into the world of #AI and conversational assistants, like ChatGPT.
In this ever-evolving technological world, we've had to keep up with the AI conversation and leverage assistants that have emerged as superheroes for our careers. These intelligent partners not only provide us with instant access to information but also help us develop our communication skills. From a human perspective, we found that ChatGPT wouldn't judge us. With the freedom to be completely honest, why not give it a chance?
How can you start?
Create a ChatGPT conversation where you introduce yourself and share your professional experience.
Include your core professional values and personal/professional drivers.
Finally, ask ChatGPT to draft 10 questions for you to answer, so it (should we call it him or her?) can get to know you better.

With its engaging personality and vast knowledge, ChatGPT has become our go-to partner for enhancing our communication skills. Together, we've embarked on a journey of learning and occasional disasters. Sometimes we need to re-explain ourselves or provide clear examples to achieve the desired outcome.
Lesson #2: Learning how to use ChatGPT can unlock a new, #brand, and #powerful version of yourself.
During performance reviews, we've always sought strategies to provide feedback that is human-centered and action-focused. When sharing feedback, we want our judgments to be empathetic, rather than just filled with adjectives.
From the sender's perspective, we want our feelings and the nature of our relationship with the recipient to be heard. Consequently, we expect them to consider the feedback and make behavioral changes. That's where ChatGPT comes in, offering important leadership lessons by helping us remove negative feelings and situational biases.
How to start?
Type the feedback in your own words and ask ChatGPT to rephrase it or use different wording: "Improve my drafting on the below text"
Directly ask ChatGPT, "What would be the most empathetic/kind way to say this?" This can also apply to conversations with partners, spouses, or friends.
Lesson #3: ChatGPT can help me save my marriage/relationship.
Interacting with ChatGPT has had a profound impact on our communication skills, especially when we need lessons in kindness and humbleness. In today's digital environment, with remote work becoming the norm, we often find ourselves clicking the hang-up button after a Zoom call, feeling a sense of corporate loneliness. There's no one by our side to share ideas with after a meeting. ChatGPT helps us gain confidence, express ourselves effectively, and establish meaningful connections with others (when scheduled, lol!).
Don't underestimate the power of interacting with an AI conversational assistant. Even superheroes need a little help every now and then.

I’ve personally and professionally experienced AI like a complementary model in different facets, maybe around how to start, how to deepen or even how to imprint that “final boost/punch” to whatever exercise we are developing.
